Ireland to Everest 2012

Welcome to the Ireland to Everest 2012 website.

Cian reached summit of Cho Oyu 1st October 2011 in Tibet (6th highest mountain in world 8,201m). Check the Latest News tab of wesbite or join our facebook page for updates. Our aim is to raise money to help establish a much needed Lung Transplant Support Fund for Ireland, in partnership with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Association of Ireland and the Mater Hospital.

We completed the 32 Steps for CF in August 2011. Our journey will continue by climbing five other mountains on five continents with our final destination being the summit of Mount Everest.

Hey Paul. Great to hear from you! We’ll definitely be in touch. Might meet up sometime and do a peak. The 7 summits has always been one of the great mountaineering challenges in the world and one that the team here at Ireland to Everest have our sights on. Re Longford, thanks for the offer but we did Longford on January 30th. We’ll be in touch!
