Ireland to Everest 2012
Welcome to the Ireland to Everest 2012 website. I left for Kathmandu on Saturday 24th March so I am currently preparing for an attempt on Mount Everest in Nepal between now and June 2012. The team left base camp for their summit attempt on May 16th so hope to get a shot at the summit within the next 7 days.

- Weather permitting, hoping to summit around May 20th!!
- So Cian is all set for the summit! Leaving base camp tonight heading for camp 2, onto camp 3, camp 4 and the summit!
- Up to camp 3! so back in base camp now for a week before we attempt the summit!

hi cian,glad to report we all got down to kathmandu in good shape.back in wales now and recovering nicely on beer and fish and chips!!watching your progress up to camp 2.icefall sounds bad so go careful!keep it going kidda and look forward to seeing your grinning face on the summit! dont forget my welsh flag as will buy you a beer when you get down.stay safe. mark.
